We have created an easy access platform to showcase Northern Artists Gallery members’ work. Through this online gallery, you will be able to connect directly to people in order to sell your work.

Northern Artists Gallery will regularly feature work and artists from the membership to increase your exposure and sales opportunities.

  • All sales and delivery of work will take place directly with the artist.
  • Northern Artists Gallery will not take any commission. 100% of sales will go to you.
Northern Artists Gallery is accepting submissions from northern artists and artisans and we are interested in all mediums such as, but not limited to, painting, ceramics, sculpture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, photography, textiles and wood.

  • Northern Artists Gallery provides the opportunity for artists to participate in art venues and exhibits
  • Our virtual gallery is an excellent way for you to connect with art lovers and art buyers
  • All transactions are managed by you and there are no commission fees involved
  • If you do not have your own website, your virtual gallery on the Northern Artists Gallery site provides you with the opportunity to get started online and create a home for your art business
  • The site’s platform showcases your art and promotes it on the web
  • Northern Artists Gallery provides an opportunity to network and meet other artists and possible mentors
  • Northern Artists Gallery provides an access to share and advertise your initiatives, upcoming shows or other achievements and news

Membership Benefits

A profile page on the Northern Artists Gallery website with the following features:

  • A personal login with Dashboard
  • Ability to edit to your profile page (text, images, etc)
  • Artist Bio
  • Contact information
  • Gallery showcase with up to 12 items to promote your art

  • Promotion of your work on social media
  • Participation in Northern Artists Gallery events and shows (subject to the eligibility criteria and rules of each show/event)

Submission for Membership and Online Gallery


Northern Artists Gallery invites submissions for membership. Members have a place to showcase their work and connect with an audience who appreciates art and potentially wish to purchase.

Annual Member Fee: $100

Conditions of entry – Please check to confirm that you meet the following criteria:

  • The work is your original work
  • You are 18 years of age or over
  • You are a Northern resident
  • You have finished work for sale

Medium
Artist Statement
Submit five (5) images, according to the following specifications
  • High quality JPG/JPEG images
  • Image size: Between 3000px – 4000px
  • File size: Under 1MB in size
  • Save your image in the correct orientation
  • Images must be of recent work, or work that is for sale


How to label your image files

Use the following file name format to name your files prior to uploading them:

Image 1: XX1.jpg
XX = your initials
Example: Robert Brown = RB1.jpg


Membership requirements

  • Current or former Northern Ontario resident
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Finished work for sale
  • Quality work
  • Prepared to sell your work and handle the transactions and shipping
  • Your submission be reviewed and accepted
