I have always thought of myself as being creative. Ive written poetry, done intricate cross-stitch, sewn for my children, but it wasn’t until I was in my 50s and a chance meeting, that I found my true love Pottery.
Barb Elend a very talented potter took me under her wing and showed me the many forms of pottery. Due to arthritis I was unable to work the wheel, and hand building became my forte. My husband laughs at me when I say “just going to go and play with clay. Each piece takes up to a month to make, taking up to 20 hours to paint the intricate designs.
My vision for the future is to get better at my craft and to give pleasure to those who appreciate my endeavours
