The concept of functional floor art has intrigued me throughout my thirty years in the flooring industry and I began designing custom rugs early in my career.
After completing a rug design course in Minnesota over twenty years ago I mastered my craft and was awarded 1st place in the North American Rug Design competition in 2004 and 2006. My custom designed rugs are now found beautifying homes and augmenting businesses
with captured trademarks, across Canada, in the USA, Ireland and Japan.
While my love of Canada and the North is captured in my designs, I apply all concepts and themes to enhance any area or space.
I work with people to design and create a one of a kind rug that is unique to them and their home.
Although I have been creating custom art rugs for many tears I am still searching for new ideas in shape and texture to expand my vision of functional floor art.
