Jon Butler is a retired newspaperman and Zen practitioner who changed his clothes to enjoy the passing seasons of life. He has been capturing the light and spirit of La Cloche for over 35 years.
His natural light photographs reflect the absolute beauty of the La Cloche area without any computer or filter enhancement… it is what it is.
In 2016 Jon began creating photo composites or photomontage images inspired by our natural world and what he’s seeing and celebrating. He has created wearable art from his photomontage collection and it is available at www.loon.ca and view the photomontage images at www.JonButler.ca.
His natural light photographs are collected internationally and have been exhibited in 12 solo exhibits, 49 group exhibits and 31 juried shows since 2002.
