Artist Bio

Mindemoya, Ontario

Peter, who is based on Lake Manitou on Manitoulin Island, combines his background as an award-winning landscape geoscientist with his love of photography to create visual images that convey moods and promote memories. From landscapes to landmarks, his photographs capture moments of Mother Nature’s ever changing canvas; primarily focusing on Manitoulin Island throughout all four seasons.
Peter’s photographs have occurred on CD covers and in art exhibits at Queen’s Park in Toronto, the Island Jar in Little Current, the La Cloche Art Show (juried art) and in his shared studio and gallery, with his wife Anna, (Northern Creative Studio Gallery) in the Gore Bay Harbour Centre for the Arts.
